Michèle Oricoli is the founder of MORE THAN MANNERS LLC. After a career on Wall Street and obtaining a Master’s in Counseling, she was certified as a Children’s Etiquette Consultant by Dorothea Johnson of The Protocol School of Washington followed by a certification as a Business Etiquette Consultant by The Emily Post Institute. She founded the Connecticut School of Etiquette in 2001. After taking time off of to raise her five children, Michèle was eager to share her passion, expertise and personal experience by developing her own programs including modules not typically offered in the etiquette arena. She created a niche for herself with her proprietary UP Programs©. Topics range from meeting and greeting, proper introductions, dining etiquette, interviewing skills, navigating social and professional settings, tech and social media savvy, the power of "thank you" and mindfulness . Her programs are modern, practical, unpretentious and empowering.
In addition, Michèle has been previously featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal as well as numerous written and online publications, local television, newspapers, magazines and media outlets.
